Besides the obvious physical changes that can occur with pregnancy, general loosening and stretching of the ligaments around the main weight bearing joints in the body happens affecting the general posture that may lead to minor aches and pains.

Antenatal (before Birth) Physiotherapy
Advice will be provided on correct posture, exercise, back discipline, relaxation and breathing techniques that would help pregnant mother to relax during labour.
Postnatal (after birth) Physiotherapy
Once baby is born, mother may still require professional advice on correct posture during the breast feeding and attending to baby’s work, while maintaining the good look of the body through appropriate exercise.
Pelvic floor exercises
The pelvic floor muscles are the muscles that support the uterus, the bowel and the bladder, as well as the small circular muscles guarding the entrance to the urethra, vagina and the anus.
